one or the other

so i still have some cash sittin around, and i need a new swingarm skid plate, but i also wanna get airscoops and i found a good deal on airscoops on ebay, or an ac swinger skid, i only have the money for one right now, but my birthdays in about a month so eventually i will probably have both. just don't know which to get first :-

I think the skid plate is more important .

yeah but i havent been riding much lately, i wish i was, and i dont need it that bad, but still, you have a point

I'll be the odd guy here and say get the air scoops! I haven't run a skid plate for 6 yrs or so and have never had a problem. You just have to pick your lines a little more careful. Be sides, if you're not riding much now in a month or so you can get the skid when you have the money

well seeing as how you have paddel tires on your blaster I would assume you ride in sand mainly. in that circumstance keeping the engine cool might be more important than sheilding the sprocket and rotor from sand

HAHA another good point. Either way i will have both in time, im prob gettin air scoops first actually because it already has a bunch of watchers on ebay and itll go by quick, and the skid just got posted like 2 days ago

I would go with the skid plate first, I have never ran air scoops on anything I have owned yet.  The scoops can wait, but you can really tear something up back there.  Plus its winter now, so the outside temps are already cooler

yeah i have the stock skid, just dont wanna get another one thatll just dent easy, id say a 70 dollar ac skid 1/4 inch thick wont dent that easy. the scoops are 58 dollars too

If you got the stock skid on there, I would go with the scoops lol

if u have any "fabbing skills" u can easly make ur own air scoops outta some thin aluminum...mabe ill make a set up for a giveaway contest 8)
